**Note: This bat is no longer available. Here is the latest and greatest 2022 Easton BBCOR Bat.

The 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat is one of Easton’s newer releases. A quick look at its features will show there are a lot of things that separate it from the others available today.

Of course just because a product is getting good reviews doesn’t mean it’s right for you. Before you buy you need to know just what’s special about it and why it’s turning into a big seller.

Features of This 2015 Easton Mako BBCOR Baseball Bat

The Easton bb15mk has several noteworthy features, and one of them is the TCT thermo composite technology.

If you use other Easton bats you’ll be familiar with this feature. If not, it’s a special technology that allows Easton to create longer barrels which of course leads to a bigger sweet spot.

When you play baseball, you know that the sweet spot makes a big difference. Simply put, if the sweet spot is too small, you won’t be able to hit the ball hard enough or precise enough.

2015 Easton Mako BBCOR Grip

But the Easton baseball bat doesn’t just have a large sweet spot. The MOI is much lower compared to other bats, resulting in a faster, more accurate swing.

This isn’t just a claim on the manufacturer’s part, as it has been verified by the customers who bought and tried the bat.

Apart from a lower MOI and faster swing, the Easton Mako doesn’t produce the kind of vibrations you get with other bats when you hit off the end or get jammed.

Vibrations are very common in lower quality baseball bats and a source of frustration for a lot of players.

However, Easton seems to have licked that problem with the Mako. Even when you swing, there’s very little vibration, which is good news.

The other thing that’s worth noting on the Mako is the streamlined design. The bat’s sweet spot is much larger compared to others, but it isn’t heavy at all.

This version is actually lighter as the excess mass has been taken out. This leaves a lighter and more manageable baseball bat.

Swinging the Bat

All of those features will be useless if the bat doesn’t swing properly of course. It’s obvious when you take a few swings that the Mako is built for precision and power.

Just looking at the bat may not make this obvious, but when you swing and hit a ball the difference becomes conspicuous.

Handling the bat isn’t an issue either since the 31/32″ composite handle is just right for the hands.

In terms of overall quality and style, the Mako is right up there in its class as it’s been approved for use in American Legion, Little League Senior, Babe Ruth 16+ and many other baseball leagues.

As a testament to its quality, the bat comes with a full 12 month warranty.

If you’re a player who just wants to get a powerful bat to help you hit those home runs, the Easton Mako won’t disappoint, but it also helps if you understand some of the technology involved so you’ll understand the difference between this bat and the other 2015 baseball bats in the market.

2015 Easton Mako BBCOR ChartAs pointed out earlier, the key here is the Thermo composite technology, because it is what allows the bat to have such a generous sweet spot.

So This Bat is Technologically Advanced…What Can It Do For Me?

So what do all these features and technologies mean for you?

It means you’ll be able to swing a bat with a large barrel and a large baseball bat sweet spot. When you strike the ball the TCT technology and ConneXion technology will kick in.

The ConneXion technology is especially important as it ensures no amount of energy is wasted and all of your power goes into the swing.

That’s actually something that few players think about, but it is very important and can spell the difference between striking out and hitting the home run.

There’s a great deal of science behind this, but what it all comes down to is this: unless the bat successfully transfers the energy you won’t be able to hit with full power.

And that’s where the ConneXion technology steps in, because with the built in energy transfer optimizer, you don’t have to worry that the effort you exert doesn’t get in the bat, because it does.

Customer Reviews

The Easton Mako bbcor bat reviews have been mostly positive. The bat is still new and there aren’t that many customers yet who have tried it, but even so, the early customer reviews have given it a lot of positive feedback.

One customer said the baseball bat has very good balance and pop. Another reviewer said the bat has a very nice feel and doesn’t strain the wrists when you swing.

Also, he noted that the handle design is properly implemented and makes a huge difference in terms of hitting. Furthermore, most reviewers agree that the Mako doesn’t produce vibration like other baseball bats.

Conclusion on the 2015 Easton Mako BBCOR Baseball Bat

The early reviews for the Mako have been very positive and deservedly so. The bat is well designed and true to its word, allows for fast zone hitting.

It should also be pointed out that the bat makes it easier for you to drive the ball in gaps or down the line, which is exactly what you need.

By and large the Easton Mako bbcor bat delivers in all the important departments. It does what it’s supposed to do, and that is to improve your ability to swing and hit.

True there are a lot of other cheaper baseball bats around, but why settle for mediocre quality when the Mako is around?
