BBCOR Standards
BBCOR, or, “bat-ball coefficient of restitution” is a baseball bat performance standard created by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). This certification verifies the performance of composite baseball bats. It’s most important at the collegiate level, but is also a standard for competitive high-school-age teams.
The standard means that any BBCOR-certified baseball bat used in competitive play is constructed with materials other than one-piece solid wood.
